Attendance at the Boishakhi Lunch Celebrating the Bangla New Year 1426.
April 19, 2019: It was a pleasure for His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend the Boishakhi Lunch event at the Bangladesh House Terrace in Chiyoda-ku to celebrate the Bangla New Year 1426.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat had the honor of speaking with H.E. Ms. Rabab Fatima, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Japan, to whom he expressed his gratitude for the invitation to the noble event. On behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and in honor of the occasion, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat congratulated the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, through H.E. Ambassador Ms. Fatima, wishing them peace and prosperity in their new year. While at the even he also had the opportunity to meet and speak with others of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, Heads of Mission, Diplomats with missions in Japan, and other distinguished guests all present in honor of the auspicious occasion.
