27/12/2010 Ambassador Fatimie presents his credentials to H.M. the Emperor of Japan

December 27, 2010: Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie was welcomed at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo by H.M. the Emperor of Japan in order to present his credentials as the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Japan.









During his time with His Majesty, Ambassador Fatimie took the opportunity to express his gratitude, on behalf of H.E. President Hamid Karzai and the people of Afghanistan, for the generous and selfless support that Japan has provided during Afghanistan’s reconstruction and development.

Ambassador Fatimie presents his credentials to H.M. the Emperor of Japan


December 27, 2010: Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie was welcomed at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo by H.M. the Emperor of Japan in order to present his credentials as the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Japan.
Ambassador Fatimie, along with Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, Mr. R.A. Sayed Luqman, Mr. Yassin, Mr. Basir Hamdard, and Mr. Bahidar Kargar of the Embassy were escorted in a series of horse-drawn carriages and cars through the main gate of the Imperial Palace, thus being escorted to meet with His Majesty.
During his time with His Majesty, Ambassador Fatimie took the opportunity to express his gratitude, on behalf of H.E. President Hamid Karzai and the people of Afghanistan, for the generous and selfless support that Japan has provided during Afghanistan’s reconstruction and development.

8/12/2010 Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie assumes the post of Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Japan

December 8, 2010: Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie arrived in Japan today in order to serve as the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's ambassador to Japan.
Ambassador Dr. Fatimie has had a very distinguished career, holding several key positions within the government, including having served as Public Health Minister. His appointment as Ambassador to this nation, therefore, stresses that the highest level of importance is placed by Afghanistan on bilateral relations with Japan.
