April 17, 2019: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to receive representatives from the Japan International Volunteer Center (JVC) and its new partnering NGO “Your Voice Organization” (YVO) for a meeting at the Embassy. Also in attendance was Mr. Basir Ahmad Hamdard, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Japan.

His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat warmly welcomed the guests to the Embassy. In return, they expressed deepest gratitude to H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat for finding time in his schedule to meet with them and for the warm welcome. JVC presented a letter from Hon. Mr. Takaki Imai, President of JVC, and to inform H.E. Dr. Mohabbat that it has helped and formed a partnership with the new NGO YVO which will heretofore be taking over all the same projects and efforts in Afghanistan previously covered by JVC, now under the leadership of its new Director the Hon Mr. Sabirullah Memlawal, formerly the JVC Afghanistan Deputy Director.

Following the briefing, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked each one for the information and renewed his deepest appreciation, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for JVC’s contribution to Afghanistan’s development and by extension investing in its future. Further, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat wished “Your Voice Organization” a most fruitful taking over of duties filled with all the best successes for a collaborative future. They thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words and assured him that the YOV team will continue forward on the same path set out by JVC to continue the progress and developments they have appreciated.
