Attendance at the 47th National Day of the Sultanate of Oman Reception.

November 20, 2017: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the honor and pleasure of attending the reception on the occasion of the 47thNational Day of the Sultanate of Oman at the Palace Hotel Tokyo.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat extended his best wishes on this auspicious day to His Excellency Mr. Khalid bin Hashil bin Mohammed Al-Muslahi, Ambassador of Oman to Japan. He further expressed his hopes to strengthen and deepen the relations between their respective countries. In return, H.E. Ambassador Mr.Al-Muslahi expressed His Excellency’s appreciation to H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for the kind words and attendance at the celebration and agreed to maintain a positive relations between Oman and Afghanistan.

H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting with long time friend of Afghanistan and the Embassy, Hon. Mr. Natsuo Yamaguchi, Chief Representative of the Komeito, with whom he exchanged the usual pleasantries, as well as H.E. Mr. Lui Tuk Yew, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Japan. Additionally, he met with several other of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors with missions in Japan, many diplomats, members of Parliament, and notable members of Japan’s business sector with whom he discussed various topics of mutual interest.
