02/06/2016 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends the Reception of the Italian National Day

June 2, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had the pleasure of attending the reception on the occasion of the Italian National Day. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed his congratulations to H.E. Italian Ambassador Mr. Domenico Giorgi, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for the occasion and this year also marking the 150th anniversary of official relationship between Italy and Japan, as well as he expressed his appreciation for Italy's continuous, generous, impact-generating, and sustainable development assistance in many areas in/of Afghanistan. H.E. Ambassador Mr. Giorgi appreciated H.E. Dr. Fatimie for his attendance and kind words, and further expressed to work closely for the betterment of the already amicable relation between Italy and Afghanistan.

The reception was attended by many Japanese officials, Their Excellencies Ambassadors, and distinguished guests from number of sectors. H.E. Dr. Fatimie particularly had the great pleasure of meeting again with H.E. Mr. Nobuteru Ishihara, Minister in charge of Economic Revitalization, Total Reform of Social Security and Tax, and of State for Economic and Fiscal Policy. Their Excellencies discussed the issues of mutual interest, and agreed to meet again soon.
