Welcoming T.I.M. Emperor and Empress to the Hidden Treasures Exhibition
June 8, 2016: Dr. Bashir Mohabbat was very honored to have the opportunity to welcome and accompany as an official translator with Their Imperial Majesties of Japan, His Majesty the Emperor Akihito, and Her Majesty the Empress Michiko, to the Hidden Treasures From the National Museum Exhibition at the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno, Tokyo.
Accompanying them was H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie and other embassy diplomats, along with the many other public visitors who, during the exhibition period, came to enjoy and admire the treasures that reflect Afghanistan’s beautiful and complex past.
