16/06/2016 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends Iftar Hosted by H.E. PM Abe

His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had a great honor and pleasure in attending Iftar Party hosted by H.E. Prime Minister Mr. Shinzo Abe. It was particularly so when he was warmly welcomed by H.E. PM Abe.
In his remarks, H.E. PM Abe praised the efforts made by the Islamic world to tackle the challenges they have been facing, and stated that Japan is always on their side to promote peace and prosperity.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie also had the honor and pleasure of meeting with H.E. Mr. Hiroshige Seko, Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary, and Member of the House of Councilors. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed his appreciation, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, to H.E. Mr. Seko Japan's continuous assistance to and friendship with Afghanistan, as well as further discussed the issues of mutual interest.
The missions of 35 Muslim countries and region(s) stationed in Tokyo in total attended the Iftar reception, by each countries or region(s) brought their own signature food for representation. All attendees enjoyed the meal, and deepened the mutual understanding as well as the diplomatic/cultural exchange
