March 08, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin
Fatimie had the pleasure of attending a reception organized by Ministry
of Finance of Japan. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie communicated with H.E.
Mr. Toshitaka Ooka, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Finance, and Mr.
Daikichi Momma, Director-General of the International Bureau of the
ministry, that on behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic
Republic of Afghanistan, the appreciation to Japan's comprehensive,
sustainable and impact generating support to Afghanistan. In return,
both H.E. Mr. Ooka and Mr. Momma thanked H.E. Dr. Fatimie, and assured
that Japan will continue its support to Afghanistan. They also exchanged
views on international financial issues.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie also had a pleasure in meeting again with
Ms. Jessica Webster, Minister-Counsellor at US embassy, as well as had
opportunities to converse with H.E. Mr. Ritter Nobel Diaz Gomez,
Ambassador of Panama; Mr. Arvind Singh, Minister at the embassy of
India; Mr. David De Leon S., Economic Counselor at the embassy of
Republic of Panama; Mr. Christopher D. Winship, Financial Attache at the
embassy of the USA; Mr. Masato Kanda, Deputy Commissioner for
International Affairs, Financial Services Agency; Mr. Tsuyoshi Uematsu,
Director, International Relations Office, National Printing Bureau; Mr.
Hakaru Hyakushima, president, and Ms. Nayuko Kume, Manager of
International Affairs Office, Japan Mint; and many Their Excellencies
Ambassadors and diplomatic staffs in charge of financial affairs.
