07/03/2016 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Visits H.E. Ambassador of the EU

March 07, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had an honor and pleasure in visiting H.E. Mr. Viorel Isticioaia-Budura, Ambassador of the European Union to Japan, at his residence.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed his gratitude, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for the EU\'s generous assistance and support provided to the country in last fourteen years, and particularly thanked for hosting of the Brussels Conference on Afghanistan in a timely manner. In return, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Isticioaia-Budura welcomed and shared his willingness to work on the further support to Afghanistan. H.E. Isticioaia-Budura stated that conditions of the security and development matter to the entire world, particularly to the EU member states.
Their Excellencies Ambassadors further discussed the issues of mutual interest, including to maintain the close coordination and communication between the two embassies in order to invite the Government of Japan to the Brussels Conference.
