March 4, 2016: It was a pleasure for His Excellency Ambassador
Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie in welcoming the visit by 36 students
and 4 teachers from Japan Women's University attached High School at the
embassy. The high school and the university have organized years of
their exchange program between Afghanistan, the group visited the
embassy as a part of their study. Though, it was the first time for them
to visit the embassy with such a number of the participants.
Mr. Abdulzaman Akbari, Third secretary, made an opening remark to
welcome the students and teachers. It was followed by a presentation
regarding Afghanistan, and question-and-answer session, which the
students actively took part in asking or commenting based on their
impression and what they had studied of Afghanistan.
Subsequently, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie invited all visitors to his
office. In his message to the students directly, H.E. Dr. Fatimie
warmly welcomed everyone, and expressed his wish and hope that the visit
will contribute to peaceful and successful future for every one of the
students, for both countries Afghanistan and Japan, as well as the
world. In return, one of the students expressed her appreciation, by
representing the visiting group, for H.E. Ambassador's encouraging words
and the embassy's great hospitality. Then, the group was given the
