22/03/2016 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Welcomes the Embassy Visit by Haruta Elementary School

March 22, 2016: It was a pleasure for His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie in welcoming the visitors from Chikuma City's Haruta Elementary School in Nagano Prefecture. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie invited all 50 visitors to his office, expressed his appreciation for the visit, and wished for their success in the future as well as for the continued friendly relationship between Afghanistan and Japan. H.E. Dr. Fatimie added how much Afghan children admire and respect Japanese friends, and he encouraged and wished them together make peace, prosperity and stability in the world.




Forty 5th grade students and their accompanying Chikuma International Exchange Association members, teachers and parents were given a brief on Afghanistan as well as an embassy tour by the embassy staff. The students particularly showed their interest in the beautiful Islamic architecture of Afghanistan, and the many commonalities between Afghanistan and Japan.
