11/03/2016 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Welcomes H.E. Miller, US Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan

March 11, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had the great honor and pleasure of welcoming H.E. Ms. Laurel Miller, Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the embassy. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed his warm welcome to H.E. Ms. Miller and accompanying delegates, and on behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, extended his gratitude for the enormous assistance and efforts the United States                                                         has provided to Afghanistan in such a wide range of areas.

H.E. Ms. Miller responded to appreciate H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie for his hospitality, and noted that Afghanistan affairs are the cornerstone of the US foreign policy. She mentioned that the stability of Afghanistan is important for the rest of the world, and assured their continuing support.


Additionally, Their Excellencies Dr. Fatimie and Ms. Miller expressed their gratitude to the Government of Japan for supporting Afghanistan, and both sides wished the Japanese assistance to Afghanistan will continue.
