March 09, 2016: It was a pleasure for His Excellency
Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie in attending the seminar "The
Role of EU and NATO for Japan's Security -Chances and Opportunities for
Japan Due to Complementary Roles of EU and NATO-" organized by Konrad
Adenauer Stiftung. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had a pleasure in
communicating with Dr. Stephan Grabherr, Minister & Deputy Head of
Mission of the embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Japan, and
Dr. Beatrice Gorawantschy, Director at Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, who
both respectively had presented their opening remarks at the beginning
of the seminar.
The seminar aimed to grasp the current conditions and options for
European Union and North Atlantic Treaty Organization in Asia-Pacific
region, specifically focused on the relation with Japan and its security
cooperation. In the series of interesting presentations, some of the
distinguished guests presented their speech, such as H.E. Mr. Viorel
Isticioaia-Budura, Ambassador of the European Union to Japan, Head of
the Delegation; and from the organizer side, Mr. Paul Linnarz,
representative of KAS Japan Office. H.E. Dr. Fatimie also had a pleasure
of meeting with Their Excellencies Ambassadors and Deputy Heads of
Missions from European countries.
