Courtesy Call on H.E. Ambassador of India

September 19th, 2017: . H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, had the honor and pleasure of making a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Mr. Sujan R. Chinoy of India at the Indian Embassy in Tokyo. Also in attendance was Mr. Abdulzaman Akbari, Third Secretary for the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Japan.

H.E. Mr. Sujan R. Chinoy expressed his warm welcome to H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat, and sincerely congratulated him on assuming the post as Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Japan. Additionally he wished H.E. Dr. Mohabbat the greatest of success in his endeavors throughout his mission remarking that he was certain to do so due to H.E. Dr. Mohabbat’s long time and experience in Japan. In return H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat thanked H.E. Mr. Chinoy for making time in his schedule for the meeting as well as thanked him, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for the long support and assistance of the people and Government of India. India has been a good friend and stood with Afghanistan during the rebuilding process, helping to bring the current progress & achievements, and their help and sacrifices, like others from the international community hold a place of appreciation and honor in the heart of Afghans.

In return, H.E. Mr. Chinoy thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his attendance, his kind words, and further expressed his wishes for continuing the deep and profound friendship between Afghanistan and India. They further discussed many topics of mutual interest such as the recent speeches by leaders of allied nations planning for active steps to achieving further peace and security in Afghanistan.
