H.E. Dr. Mohabbat Attends the Singapore's 52nd National Day Reception

September 7, 2017: His Excellency Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Japan, had the honor and pleasure of attending the 52nd National Day reception of the Republic of Singapore at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan.

H.E. Dr. Mohabbat expressed His sincere congratulations to the Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore, His Excellency Mr. Lui Tuck Yew. As Singapore is a vital partner in Afghanistan’s strive for peace and stability, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat further emphasized His honest gratitude for Singapore’s generous contribution to reconstruct and redevelop Afghanistan particularly in the realm of human capacity building. In return, H.E. Mr. Lui Tuck Yew articulated that Singapore wishes to sustain a mutually beneficial and friendly relationship with Afghanistan.

H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with several of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors with missions in Japan, many diplomats, high ranking members of Parliament, and notable members of Japan’s business sector with whom he discussed many topics of mutual interest.
