Attendance at the 25th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations for the Republic of Tajikistan and Japan
September 14, 2017: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, had the pleasure of attended the reception on the occasion of the Independence Day and the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Japan. The reception was graciously held at the Prince Park Tower Hotel in Tokyo.
On behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, H.E Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat extended his best wishes on the auspicious occasion to His Excellency Dr. Hamrokhon Zarifi, Ambassador of Tajikistan in Japan. He further expressed his hopes to strengthen and deepen the relations between their two countries to further attain regional peace and cross-cultural connections. It is with great honor H.E. Dr. Mohabbat was able to witness the anniversary of a 25 year relationship between two great nations.
H.E. Dr. Mohabbat had the pleasure of meeting with His Excellency Masahisa Sato, State Minister for Foreign Affairs MOFA Japan. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting with several of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors with missions in Japan, many diplomats, members of Parliament, and notable members of Japan’s business sector with whom he discussed many topics of mutual interest such as the recent speeches by leaders of allied nations planning for active steps to achieving further peace and security in Afghanistan.
