Meeting with Honorable Madam Sadako Ogata at JICA Research Institute
April 6th, 2017:His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie and Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic in Tokyo, met with Hon. Madame Sadako Ogata, former president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Research Institute. Madame Sadako Ogata is currently a Special Advisor to Dr. Shinichi Kitaoka who is the current President of JICA and a long-time friend of H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie. H.E. Dr.Fatimie expressed his gratitude to JICA for its contributions to Afghanistan and expressed his deep appreciation for the important role that Madame Ogata has played in JICA and her efforts to promote peace and betterment of the lives of ordinary Afghans in all facets including the areas of education, economy, and agriculture in Afghanistan. Madame Ogata also expressed her gratitude to the Afghan people and government for their friendship and cooperation, and shared her warm feelings for the country. Subsequently, they discussed many other topics of mutual interests.
