Receiving and Meeting with H.E. Mr. Hiroshi Takahashi, former Japanese Ambassador to Afghanistan, at the Embassy.
April 5, 2017: It was an honor for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie to receive and meet with H.E. Mr. Hiroshi Takahashi, former Japanese Ambassador to Afghanistan and recipient of the ‘Ghazi Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan’ Medal at the embassy. He was joined by all of the diplomats in receiving and welcoming H.E. Mr. Takahashi as he arrived.
In the meeting also attended by Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, Minister-Councillor, and Mr. Ahmad Ghafoori, First Secretary and Consul, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie thanked H.E. Mr. Takahashi for not only making the time to meet with him but also for his long service to Afghanistan which has helped to make string the friendly relationship between Japan and Afghanistan. H.E. Dr. Fatimie expressed his thanks to the people and Government of the noble nation of Japan who have sincerely helped Afghanistan achieve great strides in progress towards stability, peace, and prosperity. In return, H.E. Mr. Takahashi thanked H.E. Dr. Fatimie for meeting with him, his kind words, and assured him of Japan’s continued support of Afghanistan in its development. They were then joined in the meeting by H.E. Mr. Mohamed Hussain Shareef, Ambassador for the Republic of Maldives and Madam his wife. All those present further discussed many topics of mutual interest.
