March 8, 2019: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend the Opening Ceremony, Reception, and Preview of "Hibla ng Filipino Traveling Exhibition, Lecture Series, Weaving Demonstrations and Embroidery Workshops featuring Pina-Seda: Pineapple and Silk Cloths from the Tropics" at the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines Siazon Hall in Tokyo.
On behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat expressed sincerest thanks to the people and Government of the Republic of the Philippines through H.E. Mr. Jose C. Laurel V, Ambassador of the Philippines to Japan for their great support in Human Capacity Development and infrastructure building of Afghanistan which is very vital to the improvement in the Quality of life of Afghans and helped in the reconstruction and progress of the country. In return, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Laurel thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words and attendance as well as expressed his earnest wishes that their two countries would continue to enjoy close ties as the Philippines will continue to stand with Afghanistan well into the future.
