June 18, 2018: It was a pleasure for His Excellency Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend the Swiss luncheon and reception, hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Jean-Francois Paroz, at the Swiss Ambassador’s residence in Tokyo, Japan.
His Excellency Dr. Bashir Mohabbat expressed his greatest appreciation to H.E. Ambassador Mr. Paroz and his wife, Dr. Yulia Gusynina Paroz for hosting the lovely event and for courteously extending him an invitation to partake in discussions on current humanitarian issues and future action in cooperation with the Japanese Red Cross Society. Further, he sincerely thanked H.E. Mr. Paroz on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for Switzerland’s continuous support of Afghanistan during the process of reconstruction and actualizing peace. In return, H.E. Mr. Paroz thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words and attendance of the luncheon and reception.
Additionally, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting with the Hon. Mr. Yasuo Tanaka, Special Advisor to the President at International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC); and several others of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, diplomats with missions in Japan, and other distinguished guests who attended the event.
