First Secretary Dr. Rahim Azimi meets with METI’s Directors of Middle East & Africa Division
September 21, 2018: The Honorable First Secretary Dr. Rahim Azimi welcomed His Excellency Principal Deputy Director Mr. Yu Teraoka and Honourable Assistant Director Mr. Tsuyoshi Odahara of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Middle East & Africa Division to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Dr. Azimi expressed deepest gratitude on behalf of the people and the Government for Japan’s tremendous support and assistance in developing business relations among Afghan and Japanese companies, and furthermore, for their continuous support with the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
In their meeting, Dr. Azimi mentioned internal and external issues related to the security situation in Afghanistan about the great progress made after 2001 and Japan’s generous support, along with Afghan’s economy and the rich mineral reserves and natural gas.
