July 4, 2019:It was an honor for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to host a small dinner for Hon. Mr. Mohammad Naiem Haqmal, Auditor General, and Hon. Mr. Fazel Fazel Hadi, both of the Supreme Audit Office of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan at the Ambassador’s residence within the embassy. Also in attendance were Mr. Naqshband Haya, First Secretary; and Mr. Abdul Hameed Hashimi, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo.

H.E. Dr. Mohabbat and the diplomats warmly welcomed the guests, gave them a tour of the Embassy building, and accompanied them to the residence where the dinner was held.

Hon. Messrs. Haqmal and Hadi were in Japan on an official visit through the auspices of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan for the "INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee & INTOSAI Donor Cooperation Steering Committee 2019" conference in Tokyo, Japan; sponsored by INTOSAI's Capacity Building Committee (CBC), INTOSAI-Donor Cooperation Steering Committee (IDSC), and the Board of Audit of Japan (BOA). They first thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for the invitation and expressed sincere appreciation towards the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Tokyo for all of their assistance throughout their stay. Hon. Messrs. Haqmal and Hadi briefed H.E. Dr. Mohabbat about their excellent experiences on their trip here at the hosting of the Japanese government and Japan MOFA, and were thankful to them for his very fruitful trip to Japan. In return, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked Hon. Messrs. Haqmal and Hadi for their thoughtful words and expressed his great joy in hosting a final dinner on the occasion of Hon. Messrs. Haqmal and Hadi’s visit. They mutually agreed to strengthen closer relations between Afghanistan and Japan and further discussed topics of mutual interest and the luncheon was held under a very amicable atmosphere.
