Courtesy Call on H.E. Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic.
October 30, 2017: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the honor and pleasure of making a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Chingiz Aidarbekov, Ambassador of the Embassy of Kyrgyz Republic in Tokyo, at the Kyrgyz Embassy. Also in attendance was Mr. Basir Ahmad Hamdard, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
H.E. Ambassador Mr. Aidarbekov expressed his sincere appreciation to H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat for his visit, and warmly congratulated him on assuming the post as Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Japan. Additionally he wished H.E. Dr. Mohabbat the greatest of success in his endeavors throughout his mission remarking that he was certain to do so due to H.E. Dr. Mohabbat’s long time and experience in Japan.
H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked H.E. Mr. Aidarbekov for his kind words as well as for making time to meet. He also expressed his gratitude to the people and Government of their neighboring country Kyrgyz Republic for their support of Afghanistan in its rebuilding process. The collaborative projects such as CASA-1000 and the railroad projects will ensure better livelihoods and quality of life for the Afghan people as well as help to stimulate the Afghan Economy. He asked for Kyrgyz continued assistance and cooperation with Afghanistan with further support and financial projects in order to further establish economic stability and to bolster the import/export between the two countries. Additionally H.E. Dr. Mohabbat updated H.E. Mr. Aidarbekov on the many progressive achievements in Afghanistan over the past 15 years especially those undertaken since the formation of the National Unity Government. H.E. Mr. Aidarbekov expressed his thanks for H.E. Dr. Mohabbat’s kind words and promised to ensure that the two countries would work together to strengthen their bonds and continue the regional advancement towards peace and security. The two ambassadors agreed to build stronger and more profound relations between their respective countries and embassies, and further discussed topics of mutual interest such as the recent speeches by leaders of allied nations planning for active steps to achieving further peace and security in Afghanistan.
