07/03/2015 Embassy Receives Guests Participating in the Minato-ku World Carnival Stamp Rally

January 29 - March 07, 2015: It was a great pleasure for the Embassy to treat some seventy guests from the honorable Japanese community to fifteen-plus minute tours of the Embassy as part of the Minato-ku World Carnival's Stamp Rally. Guests enjoyed learning about Afghanistan and Afghan-Japan relations while touring the Embassy and viewing such places as the Embassy library, corridor, reception hall and Embassy rooftop next to the Tokyo Tower. The Embassy extends its most forthright appreciation to all valued participants and looks forward with great anticipation to seeing all our friends again in the near future.
The Embassy extends its sincere gratitude to Minato-ku Council, JTB and in particular to the extraordinary Mr. Takayuki Shimane who provided the foundations for what has been a highly successful six-weeks.
