Courtesy Call on Reconstruction Minister H.E. Mr. Hiromichi Watanabe.
October 29, 2018: H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the pleasure of making a courtesy call on newly appointed Reconstruction Minister H.E. Mr. Hiromichi Watanabe at the Reconstruction Agency Headquarters in Kasumigaseki.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat thanked H.E. Minister Watanabe for taking the time to meet with him and wished him sincerest congratulations and all the best successes over the tenure of his new appointment. Furthermore, he thanked H.E. Minister Watanabe, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for Japan’s unwavering support of the Afghan people over the years during the reconstruction process and asked that it continue to fortify and progress even more development and stabilization to help Afghanistan advance on its road towards peace and prosperity. In return, H.E. Minister Watanabe thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words as well as assured him that Japan would as ever stand with Afghanistan well into the future as it continues its reconstruction efforts.
