Reception on the Occasion of Turkmenistan’s 27th Anniversary of Independence
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat extended his best wishes in honor of the auspicious day to His Excellency Mr. Gurbanmammet Elyasov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan. Further, he express his sincerest thanks on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for the continuous and very generous support by the people and Government of their good neighboring country of Turkmenistan over the years during the rebuilding and reconstruction of Afghanistan on its way towards achieving peace. He expressed his hopes to strengthen and deepen the relations between their two great countries and to further attain regional peace and security.
In return, H.E. Elyasov, thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for meeting with him today as well as for his kind words. He assured him that Turkmenistan would continue to stand by Afghanistan to ensure further progress and prosperity as well as work together with them and the international community to help further regional and global peace. During the fine occasion, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat had the pleasure of meeting with several of Their Excellencies and many other diplomats, member of Parliament, and notable members of Japan’s business sector.
