Luncheon Meeting with H.E. Mr. Iwama, Chief of Protocol for MOFA Japan.

October 1, 2018: It was an honor for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to host a lunch meeting for H.E. Mr. Kiminori Iwama, Chief of Protocol for Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, in Tokyo.

H.E. Dr. Bashir Mohabbat expressed his gratitude to H.E. Mr. Iwama for making time in his schedule to meet and share lunch together and congratulated him on his recent appointment to the position of Chief of Protocol. In return, H.E. Mr. Iwama expressed appreciation for the invitation to meet and discuss topics of importance to both. Further, and on behalf of the people and Government of Afghanistan, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat expressed appreciation for the steadfast and benevolent support and assistance of the noble nation of Japan which has stood by Afghanistan throughout the rebuilding process as it strives for further peace and prosperity. He also asked that Japan continue to standby Afghanistan and help it to further develop self-sustainability and opportunities for improving Afghan business and the economy. In return, H.E. Mr. Iwama expressed wishes that their bonds will continue to grow and deepen the relations between the two countries well into the future.
