2017.13.12 National Day Reception of Qatar

Attendance at National Day Reception of Qatar.

December 13, 2017: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend the reception on the occasion of the anniversary of the National Day for the Accession of Sheikh Jassin Bin Mohammed Bin Thani the Founder of the State of Qatar, to the Rule of the Country, at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo. 

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat extended his best wishes on this auspicious day to H.E. Mr. Yousef Mohamed Bilal, Ambassador of Qatar to Japan. He further expressed his hopes to strengthen and deepen the relations between their respective countries. In return, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Bilal expressed His Excellency’s appreciation to H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for the kind words and attendance at the celebration and agreed to maintain positive relations between Qatar and Afghanistan.

H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting with H.E. Mr. Masaharu Nakagawa, Minister of the Environment for Japan to whom he expressed his sincere gratitude to the people and Government of the noble nation of Japan for their continuous support of Afghanistan in its reconstruction process; as well as several other of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors with missions in Japan, many diplomats, members of Parliament, and notable members of Japan’s business sector with whom he discussed various topics of mutual interest.
