April 09, 2015: With two Afghan students attending Kashiwa Nittai
High School and robust relations enjoyed between the school, His
Excellency Ambassador Dr. Fatimie was given the honor of presenting a
speech at a ceremony to commemorate the commencement of the new academic
year in front of Japan's Minister of Education, Culture, Sports,
Science and Technology Senior Vice Minister His Excellency Mr. Yoshitaka
Sakurada, the school's Chairman and long time friend of Afghanistan the
esteemed Mr. Kenshiro Matsunami, President Seiji Suzuki, teachers and
students from Japan and Pakistan, Mongolia, Tonga and DR Congo.
In further recognition of the school and the broader community's respect
that has been achieved for Afghanistan in recent years, the National
Anthem of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan was also proudly played
and the national flag was paraded and place at the center of the stage.
In front of the audience with esteemed guests, H.E. Ambassador Dr.
Fatimie extended his deep appreciation, on behalf of the people and
Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for His Excellency
Minister Sakurada, the outstanding Mr. Matsunami and the people and
Government of Japan for their continuing support for Afghanistan and its
young democracy.
