July 05, 2018: H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the pleasure of attending the Farewell Reception for H.E. Mr. Viorel and Mrs. Isticioaia-Budura of the European Union at The Federal Republic of Germany to Japan, at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, in Tokyo, Japan.
On behalf of the people and Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat extended his sincerest appreciation for the invitation to join this auspicious occasion and for the European Union's benevolent and enduring support of Afghanistan which has helped to change and immensely improve the lives of Afghan citizens. Furthermore, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat expressed sadness in the departure of H.E. Mr. Viorel and Mrs. Isticioaia-Budura but acknowledges their future opportunities on the road ahead and wished both nothing short of many successes in all their future endeavors. In return, H.E. Mr. Viorel and Mrs. Isticioaia-Budura thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his attendance, kind words and wished for the continuation of profound relations between Germany and Afghanistan.
Additionally, he had the honor of meeting and speaking with H.E. Dr. Hans Carl Freiherr Von Werthern, Ambassador of The Federal Republic of Germany, and several of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, Diplomats with missions in Japan, members of MOFA and high ranking members of government officials.
