Attendance at "Uzbekistan Week in Japan" Concert.

May 15, 2018: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend the "Uzbekistan Week in Japan" concert hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Akasaka Civic Concert Hall in Tokyo. Also in attendance was Mr. Basir Ahmad Hamdard, First Secretary for the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Japan.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat thanked H.E. Ambassador Mr. Gayrat Fazilov for the invitation to such a successful event. In return, H.E. Mr. Fazilov thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words and attendance. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of greeting H.E. Mrs. Kamola Akilova, Deputy-Minister of Culture for the Republic of Uzbekistan, to whom he expressed his sincerest thanks on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for the many great and promising international and regional collaborative projects which will help to revitalize the economies of both their respective countries and improve the lives of their respective people. Further, he thanked the people and Government of Uzbekistan for their constant support of Afghanistan over the years during the rebuilding and reconstruction of Afghanistan. In return, H.E. Deputy-Minister Mrs. Akilova thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words and assured him that their two neighboring countries would continue their friendship and collaboration for regional peace and prosperity.

H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting with several others of of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, diplomats with missions in Japan, and other distinguished guests who attended the exceptional concert event.
