H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends Yamaguchi Promotion Fair

March 23, 2017: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie had a pleasure of attending the Reception to Convey the 150 Years Progress After Meiji and the Various Appeals of Yamaguchi Which Was A Location For Initiating the Meiji Restoration, at Iikura House in Tokyo.

The reception was celebrated by the attendance of many high ranking Japanese government and Yamaguchi Prefecture’s officials as well as Their Excellencies Ambassadors, including H.E. Prime Minister Mr. Shinzo Abe; H.E. Foreign Minister Mr. Fumio Kishida; H.E. Mr. Nobuo Kishi, State Minister for Foreign Affairs; H.E. Mr. Shunsuke Takei, and H.E. Mr. Motome Takisawa, Parliamentary Vice-Ministers for Foreign Affairs; H.E. Mr. Masahiko Komura, Vice President of the Liberal Democratic Party, Member of the House of Representatives; H.E. Mr. Takeo Kawamura, Member of the House of Representatives and former Chief Cabinet Secretary; H.E. Mr. Yoshimasa Hayashi, Member of the House of Councillors and former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; H.E. Mr. Tsugumasa Muraoka, Governor of Yamaguchi Prefecture; and so on.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had a great honor and pleasure to converse with H.E. Prime Minister Abe and H.E. Minister Kishida to express, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, his deep appreciation for the generous and impact generating assistance by Japanese government. In return Their Excellencies expressed their gratitude to meet again with H.E. Dr. Fatimie, and thanked the role Afghanistan has been playing for the good of the region and the world.

Additionally, H.E. Ambassador Fatimie had a great pleasure and honor to converse with, as well as be introduced directly by H.E. State Minister Mr. Kishi of products of Yamaguchi.
