Attendance at the 2019 “Fukushima Fair in MOFA” With Mr. Rozbeh.
July 17, 2019: H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the pleasure of attending the “Fukushima Fair in MOFA” at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters in Tokyo. Also in attendance was Mr. Rasrullah Rozbeh, Second Secretary for the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo.
The fair, organized by Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, helps to promote the many wonderfully various products of Fukushima Prefecture such as newly harvested rice, seasonal fruits such as peaches, and other confectionery treats. It also informs the public of the most up-to-date knowledge concerning the advances in the safety of agricultural and fishery products of Fukushima Prefecture.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat and Mr. Rozbeh were pleasured to try some of the products from Fukushima and were highly impressed with their quality and flavor. While at the event, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat had the pleasure of meeting once again with several MOFA Officials who he congratulated on such a successful and delightful event. Further, he assured them that he will continue to spread awareness of the excellence of Fukushima products such as those he experienced at the event and expressed his wishes for the successful restoration and revitalization of Fukushima. While at the event, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with others of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, diplomats with missions in Japan, high-ranking government officials, and other distinguished guests all present in order to experience all the wonders Fukushima Prefecture has to offer.
