Meeting with Deputy Chief of Mission, Minister Hara of the Embassy of Japan in Kabul at the Embassy in Tokyo.
April 11, 2018: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to greet and meet at the embassy Minister Keiichi Hara, Deputy Chief of Mission for the Embassy of Japan in Kabul, at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo, Japan. Also in attendance for the meeting was Mr. Basir Ahmad Hamdard, First Secretary of the embassy.
Minister Hara thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for making time in his schedule to meet and expressed his sincere thanks for his warm welcome. In return H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked him for his kind words and expressed his appreciation for Mr. Hara’s kind visit. Further, and on behalf of the people and Government of Afghanistan, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat, extended his gratitude for the long support and assistance of the people and Government of the noble nation of Japan which has stood with Afghanistan during the rebuilding process, and like others from the international community, striving to help bring further peace and security to Afghanistan. As such, Japan hold a place of appreciation and honor in the heart of Afghans.
As Deputy Chief of Mission to Afghanistan, Mr. Hara is striving to continue the strong relationship between Japan and Afghanistan with the advice and cooperation of H.E. Dr. Mohabbat and the diplomats of the Afghan Embassy in Japan. Mr. Hara, together with H.E. Dr. Mohabbat share the optimism for the relationship between Japan and Afghanistan becoming stronger. They further discussed topics of mutual interest.
