Attendance at Luncheon Hosted by H.E. Ambassador of Singapore.

April 10, 2018: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend a Luncheon at the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Japan, hosted by H.E. Ambassador Mr. Lui Tuck Yew.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat expressed his thanks to H.E. Ambassador Mr. Lui for hosting the lovely occasion and for courteously extending him an invitation. Further, he sincerely thanked H.E. Mr. Lui on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for Singapore’s continuous and steadfast support of Afghanistan during its reconstruction and in the process of actualizing peace. In return, H.E. Mr. Lui thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his attendance and for his kind words. In addition, he assured H.E. Dr. Mohabbat that the Republic of Singapore would continue to stand by Afghanistan well into the future.

Also in attendance at this event were Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of Cote d’Ivoire, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Benin, and Micronesia, as well as the Heads of Mission for the Embassies of Mauritania, and Ghana with whom H.E. Dr. Mohabbat had the pleasure of greeting and discussing topics of mutual interest.
