Attendance at the General Meeting and Banquet on the Occasion of the 26th Anniversary of The Women’s Federation for World Peace Japan

March 23, 2018:His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat was cordially invited to the Commemorative Banquet held on the occasion of the 26th Anniversary of The Women’s Federation for World Peace Japan by President Mrs. Moriko Hori, at Toshi Center Hotel “Cosmos” Convention Hall.

The Women’s Federation for World Peace Japan has been actively sending volunteers to Afghanistan from 1994 onwards in order to instigate development projects that focus on providing educational support for children and empowering women.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat had the honor of meeting with Mrs. Moriko Hori, President of Women’s Federation for World Peace Japan. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked Mrs. Hori for the warm invitation and congratulated her on this celebratory occasion of the 26th anniversary of WFWP. Further, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked Mrs. Hori for the continued support of WFWP in the development of Afghanistan. In return, Mrs. Hori thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for attending, and expressed her hopes for their relations to deepen. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the opportunity to meet with Honorable Mr. Hiroyuki Hosoda, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, and Honorable Mr. Kenshiro Matsunami, Chancellor of Nippon Sport Science University, as well as more of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, Diplomats with missions in Japan, members of Japanese Government, and other officials and dignitaries.
