Attendance at the Reception on the occasion of the Celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Croatia and Japan and the 5th Anniversary of Croatia joining the European Union

March 22, 2018: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat had the pleasure and honour of attending the Reception on the occasion of the Celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Croatia and Japan and the 5th Anniversary of Croatia joining the European Union, and a concert by Klapa Kaleta at the Europa House in Tokyo.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat extended his thanks to His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Dražen Hrastić for the invitation to the elegant and well-organized reception, as well as thanked him on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for the support of the people and Government of Croatia over the past years of reconstruction. He further expressed his hopes to strengthen and deepen the relations between their respective countries. In return, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Hrastić expressed his appreciation to H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for the kind words and attendance at the dinner and agreed to further strengthen and make more profound the relations between Afghanistan and Croatia.

H.E. Dr. Mohabbat had the pleasure of meeting and having a delightful talk with Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado. Also in attendance were several of Their Excellencies, Heads of Missions, and Diplomats with missions in Japan, members of parliament, leading businesspeople, and other dignified guests, several of whom H.E. Dr. Mohabbat met with and discussed many topics of mutual interest.
