September 10, 2019: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to meet with the Hon. Mr. Ichiro Kanke, Parliamentary Vice Minister of the Environment at the Ministry of the Environment offices in Tokyo.
Hon. Mr. Kanke expressed his warm welcome to H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat and thanked him for arranging to meet. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked Hon. Mr. Kanke for taking time out of his schedule to meet and expressed sincerest gratitude on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for Japan’s great contribution in assisting with reconstruction and progressive development of Afghanistan. H.E. Dr. Mohabbat believes strongly that being mindful of the environmental concerns of Afghanistan based on its location and its vitality to the Agriculture industry are crucial to the livelihoods of the Afghan people and the future of Afghanistan. With the generous aid from Noble countries such as Japan, the Afghanistan hope to be able to not only address environmental concerns present, but also to fortify knowledge of those within the country dealing with these issues for self-sustainability as the business, trade, and infrastructure of the country improves to grow the nation. This sort of assistance Self-Sustainability Development and Infrastructure building with a mindfulness to the unique environment of Afghanistan, such as the generous nation of Japan has been doing, if allowed to continue, will symbiotically enhance both nations and build stronger times among them.
Further, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked Hon. Mr. Kanke for Ministry of the Environment’s continuous support in the relations between Afghanistan and Japan, and asked for further assistance and guidance in helping Afghanistan to address environmental concerns. In return, Hon. Mr. Kanke thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his encouraging words, and assured him of his intentions to do his very best to assure that both nations prosperity and the continuation of strong relations will continue well into the future.
