Attendance at the National Day of Nepal Reception.
September 21, 2017: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Basir Mohabbat to attend the National Day Reception for the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal at the Hotel Okura, Tokyo.
H.E. Dr. Mohabbat thanked H.E. Ms. Prativa Rana, Ambassador of Nepal in Japan, for the invitation to the reception and, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, expressed heartfelt congratulations on their most auspicious National Day and conveyed his hopes for continued good relations between Afghanistan and Nepal. In return, H.E. Ambassador Ms. Rana thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words and congratulations and assured him that Nepal would continue to stand with the people and Government of Afghanistan well into the future. Also in attendance at the reception were several of Their Excellencies, Diplomats with missions in Japan, and other dignified guests in order to celebrate the auspicious occasion.
