25/05/2016 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends the 70th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Jordan and the Centennial Celebration of the Great Arab Revolt

 May 25, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had the pleasure of attending the reception for the 70th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and to celebrate the Centennial of the Great Arab Revolt. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed his congratulations for the occasion to H.E. Ambassador Mr. Demiye Zuher Haddad of Jordan, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and appreciated the cooperation of Jordan with Afghanistan. Additionally, H.E. Dr. Fatimie wished that the good relationship between Afghanistan and Jordan be maintained and deepened.
In return, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Haddad thanked H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie for his attendance and kind words. He added that he too wishes for the further strengthening of the friendly tie between Jordan and Afghanistan.


The reception was attended by many Japanese officials, Their Excellencies Ambassadors, and distinguished guests widely both from public and private sectors. H.E. Dr. Fatimie particularly had a pleasure and honor in meeting again his long time friend of Komei Party, junior coalition partner of the current Cabinet of Japan, the Honorable Mr. Natsuo Yamaguchi (Chief Representative, Member of the House of Councillors), and Mr. Mitsunari Okamoto (Member of the House of Representative). They had a productive discussion regarding the issues of mutual interest.
