December 8, 2010: Dr.
Sayed M. Amin Fatimie arrived in Japan today in order to serve as the
Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's ambassador to Japan.
Ambassador Dr. Fatimie has had a very distinguished career, holding
several key positions within the government, including having served as
Public Health Minister. His appointment as Ambassador to this nation,
therefore, stresses that the highest level of importance is placed by
Afghanistan on bilateral relations with Japan.
