04/04/2016 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends Arab Week Reception

 April 04, 2016: At the kind invitation of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had the pleasure of attending the reception on the occasion of Arab Week. This event was held on behalf of the Council of Arab Ambassadors and Heads of Mission in Japan, in celebration of Arab-Japan Friendship. H.E. Mr. Waleed Siam, Dean of Arab Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Permanent General Mission of Palestine, gave opening remarks to the many honored guests in attendance. He was followed by a speech given by H.E. Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan. In his comments, PM Abe expressed the great importance for attaining and preserving stability in the Middle East, and the efforts by Japan to do so.

 While in attendance at this event, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had the pleasure in meeting again with his long time frined, the Honorable Mr. Natsuo Yamaguchi, Chief Representative of Komeito Party, as well as several of Their Excellencies Ambassadors and distinguished guests who were present. H.E. Dr. Fatimie expressed his best wishes to all he met on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as well as himself.

04/11/2015 H.E. Ambassador Attends the Presentation by Representative of Palestine

November 04, 2015: 
His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie and Mr. Ahmad Bashir Ghafoori, First Secretary, had a pleasure of attending the seminar session by H.E. Representative of the General Permanent Mission of Palestine in Japan (Ambassador) Mr. Waleed Ali Siam, organized by Middle East Institute of Japan (MEIJ). Upon arrival, H.E. Ambassador and Mr. Ghafoori had an honor and pleasure of being welcomed by Mr. Tatsuo Arima, President; and Mr. Takeshi Kagami, Vice President and Executive Managing Director, of the MEIJ.

H.E. Mr. Waleed Ali Siam spoke on titled "The Present State of the Middle East Peace Process" and explained the current situation of the Palestine, hope for the improvement, and called for assistance and support from the international community.

22/04/2015 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends Ambassador for Palestine's End of Mission Reception

April 22, 2015: Palestine is a key focal point in global consciousness and Afghanistan always does its utmost to support its Palestinian brothers and sisters. As a world power, Japan has global influence and His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Fatimie spent considerable time persisting to assist Palestine when attending a ceremony to commemorate the start of the mission of Japan's Ambassador to Palestine His Excellency Mr. Takeshi Okubo, who previously served with the highest of distinction as Japan's former Director of Afghanistan Assistance Planning Division. H.E. Ambassador Mr. Okubo consequently attained the fervent admiration of the people and Government of Afghanistan.

Also present at the ceremony was Ambassador in charge of Japan's Cultural Exchange and former Ambassador to Afghanistan His Excellency Mr. Hideo Sato, Associate Professor Dr. El-Moamen Abdalla, and The Asahi Shimbun's Foreign News Editor Mr. Tsutomu Ishiai, who H.E. Amabssador Dr. Fatimie all spent time with, amongst others, to, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, promote Afghanistan's national interests.

8/03/2015 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends Friendship Through Art Exhibition

 

March 08, 2015: It was a great pleasure for His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Fatimie and Ambassadress Fatimie to attend the opening of the Friendship Through Art Exhibition at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie held discussions of mutual interest with many esteemed Ambassadors and in particular congratulated Ambassador of Oman His Excellency Mr. Khalid bin Hashil bin Mohammed Al-Muslahi for the highly innovative and successful exhibition and Palestinian Ambassador His Excellency Waleed Siam for his new leadership role in the Arab League. Of particular importance for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie during the event was to further enhance the strong working relations the Embassy enjoys with MoFA Japan's Middle Eastern and African Affairs Director General Mr. Tsukasa Uemura and with Chief Protocol Officer Mr. Jun Yamazaki which was successfully achieved.
