H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie, accompanied by First Secretary Afzali, had the honor of meeting with H.E. Ambassador Chin Siat Yoon, the ambassador of the Republic of Singapore, at the Embassy of Singapore. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed his gratitude for the excellent opportunity to exchange ideas about issues of mutual interest. H.E. Ambassador Chin Siat Yoon, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie, and First Secretary Afzali discussed many issues in depth, including the “Kabul Bank case”.
It was a great honor for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie and Mrs. Afzali, First Secretary, to attend the 24th Peace Diplomats Forum, a forum to discuss post-2015 development agenda hosted by the Universal Peace Federation. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie keenly listened to the presentation by Ms. Keiko Kamioka, director of the ILO Office for Japan, concerning sustainable development and decent work.
Also present at the forum were H.E. Testyua Endo, former ambassador to the International Organizations in Vienna; The Honorable Mr. Yoshinori Ohno, former Minister of State for Defense; and Professor Masahisa Hayashi, professor emeritus at Waseda University.
