Meeting with H.E. Mr Takashi Uto, Chairman of Foreign Relations Committee of the House of Councillors at his Office.

December 8, 2016: It was an honor for Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Afghanistan in Japan, to meet with H.E. Mr. Takashi Uto, Chairman of Foreign Relations Committee of the House of Councillors, at his office in Nagatacho.

Dr. Mohabbat expressed his sincerest thanks to H.E. Mr. Uto for all of the generous support over the past years that Japan has given to Afghanistan which has been essential in the rebuilding process. Dr. Mohabbat also thanked and congratulated him for the successful Brussels Conference and said to H.E. Mr. Uto that he was looking forward to seeing additional continued support from Japan.

In return, H.E. Mr. Uto thanked Dr. Mohabbat for visiting him at his office and for his friendship. He affirmed that Japan will continue to support Afghanistan throughout its progress and into the future. He also stated that whenever a chance presented itself, he would be certain to visit Afghanistan for himself.
