January 18, 2016: His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad
Amin Fatimie, and Mr. M. Yasir Karimi, Second secretary, welcomed the
visit of Mr. Yamaguchi and Ms. Iokawa of Gyros Corporation to the
embassy. Gyros Corporation, based in Tokyo, has been working on the
project for rehabilitation and expansion of aircraft parking aprons at
Hamid Karzai International Airport (Kabul), funded by Japanese official
assistance. Mr. Yamaguchi, president of the corporation, and Ms. Iokawa
visited the embassy to brief the completion of the project, and ideas of
further plans.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie congratulated Mr. Yamaguchi and Ms.
Iokawa for the successful completion of the project as it represents a
good and practical example of the cooperation between Japanese and
Afghanistan, that assures the expansion of exchange and business between
not only the two countries, but also internationally. For such efforts
and the achievement, H.E. Ambassador presented the letter of
congratulations to the two guests.
