His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sayed Mohammad Amin Fatimie had an honor of attending the National Day reception of the Republic of Singapore. As Afghanistan’s non-resident Ambassador to Republic of Singapore, H.E. Dr. Fatimie expressed His sincere congratulations to H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore Mr. Chin Siat Yoon, and gratitude for their country’s contribution to redevelop Afghanistan. In return, H.E. Ambassador Chin expressed that the Republic of Singapore wishes to sustain a friendly relationship with Afghanistan.
The reception was celebrated with the presence of many distinguished guests, such as His Excellency Mr. Yasuo Fukuda, former prime minister of Japan; Honorable Ms. Yoko Kamikawa, Minister of Justice; Honorable Mr. Natsuo Yamaguchi, president of New Komeito Party, Member of House of Councillors; Honorable Mr. Kenji Kosaka, Member of the House of Representatives; Honorable Mr. Hirotaka Ishihara, Member of the House of Representatives; Ms. Aiko Doden, Senior Commentator and Senior Producer of NHK; Mr. Kazuhisa Kawafune, Director of Foreign Embassies Friendship Association and Nitchu Bunka Koryu Kyokai; and Dan Slater, Director of the Delphi Network. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had an honor to converse with the attending guests on this occasion.
