3/07/2015 H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Meets With H.E. Lieutenant General Murad Ali Murad

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had the honor to welcome H.E. Lieutenant General Murad Ali Murad, First Deputy Chief of Army Staff of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Tokyo.

H.E. Lieutenant General Murad Ali Murad, as the head of the delegation, paid official visit to Japan and met with a number of high-ranking officials of the Government of Japan.

In the presence of the military delegation and Mr. Mohammad Yasir Karimi, Second Secretary of the Embassy, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie and H.E. Lieutenant General Murad Ali Murad discussed Afghanistan’s security situation and the importance of the International Community assistance to Afghanistan, of which Japan plays a key role.

H.E. Lieutenant General Murad Ali Murad stated that the Afghan National Security Forces have the capability to overcome the security challenges, but need further equipment and training.
