Attendance at the Farewell Dinner for H.E. Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
November 12, 2019: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend the farewell dinner in honor of H.E. Ms. Rabab Fatima, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Japan at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Tokyo.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat thanked the host of the event, H.E. Ambassador Ms. Rabab Fatima of Bangladesh for the invitation to this occasion to bid farewell to her, as well as wished her the very best of luck in all her future endeavors. Further, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, he thanked her for the friendship and support the people and Government of Bangladesh have shown to Afghanistan over the years. In return, H.E. Ambassador Ms. Fatima thanked H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his attendance, his kind words, and assured him that Bangladesh would continue to help Afghanistan secure peace in an Afghan-owned and Afghan-led process.
While at the event, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting with others of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, diplomats with missions in Japan, and other distinguished guests who were in attendance at the event.
