Attendance at the 23rd Nippon Taiko Foundation Charity Concert.

May 24, 2019: It was a pleasure for H.E. Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend the 23rd Nippon Taiko Foundation Charity Concert, Co-sponsored by Nippon Taiko Foundation and BirdLife International Tokyo, at the Sogetsu Hall in Tokyo.

The special guest in attendance at the exclusive annual event was Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado who has served as the Honorary President of BirdLife international for the past 15 years. Each year, the proceeds for the evening are donated to "BirdLife International Tokyo" secretariat in Asia for the BirdLife International (HQ in Cambridge, UK), which is an international environmental NGO to conserve the natural habitats of birds.

While at the event, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the other special guests of the invitation-only event all present in honor of supporting the BirdLife cause.
