Attendance at the National Day and the Armed Forces Day Reception for the Republic of Korea.
October 3, 2018: It was a pleasure for His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Bashir Mohabbat to attend the National Day and the Armed Forces Day Reception for the Republic of Korea at the Hotel New Otani in Tokyo.
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohabbat expressed his congratulations, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, to H.E. Ambassador Mr. Lee Su Hoon in honor of this auspicious occasion as well as sincere appreciation for the generous support Korea has provided to Afghanistan as it’s strived for peace and prosperity. In return, H.E. Ambassador Lee expressed his appreciation to H.E. Dr. Mohabbat for his kind words and attendance at the reception. He assured that the Republic of Korea would continue to stand with Afghanistan.
While at the reception, H.E. Dr. Mohabbat also had the pleasure of meeting with H.E. Mr. Takashi Yamashita, newly appointed Minister of Justice to whom he expressed congratulations on his new appointment and wished him the best of successes in the position. He also met with others of Their Excellencies the Ambassadors, diplomats with missions in Japan, governmental officials, as well as distinguished guests all present in honor of the occasion.
